Salvaged Signatures I
Started in 2016, completed 2020, 72x72”. 139 Signatures salvaged and collected from various sources. Original 1984 pattern by Joe Cunningham and Gwen Marston titled ‘Birds in Flight’. Quilted by Dianne Saugier. Feb 2022 - featured in a digital article about QuiltCon rejects on Curated Quilts. Exhibited in 2022 Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show. Published in the book “Sisters, Five Decades of Quilting” by Jean Wells (page 122)

Noblitt '79
Completed in 2023. All 97 signatures are from a 1979 quilt top I found on eBay. Design created in an Irene Roderick improv class. One surname, Noblitt, stood out to me—it was fun to say, which led to naming the piece ‘Noblitt 79’. Exhibited at Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show 2024

Salvaged Signatures Sampler - Opal
Completed in 2024. accepted into the Common Threads: The Stitched That Unite Us (SAQA Regional Trunk Show). The smallest salvaged signatures quilt I’ve created so far at only 7x10” with 11 signatures including my own initials in the middle block.

Completed in 2024. Original 1990 pattern by Joe Cunningham and Gwen Marston titled Plate 58. There are 427 Salvaged signatures & modern signatures from various resources. 73x73” . Exhibited at Sisters Outdoor Quilt show 2025

What's Left of Us
Completed in 2025. Created from a salvaged robe that was crafted from an unfinished quilt top. Features signatures from a Women’s Relief Corps gathering in Washington state circa 1955. Added some medals found on an online auction to add for additional interest.
